Our supported living services are full of activities with a busy calendar of group cooking classes, exercise, health and nutrition workshops, 1-2-1 time and occupational therapy to suit everyoneโs needs and help our residents to reach their recovery goals.
Some of our residents from Amy Johnson House attended Yum Festival, a street food #Festival held around Hull marina, and enjoyed tasting lots of delicious foods!
One resident also enjoyed a beach trip with CatZero and support from Team Leader Cameron.

Amy Johnson House marked Mental Health Awareness Week with a coffee morning – residents baked cornflake crispy cakes especially for the event!
Residents also created a positivity wall with words of encouragement for each other.
One of our residents at Amy Johnson House was supported on a visit to the Royal Armouries in Leeds – he had been excited to visit for a while and the experience did not disappoint!
One of our support staff at Amy Johnson House plays for the Kingston Diamonds ice hockey team, and some of our residents went along to the latest game to cheer her on! Our residents had a great time, and the Kingston Diamonds had an incredible 9-0 win against Slough Sirens!

Happy New Year! ๐ Residents at Amy Johnson House became top sous chefs on New Year’s Eve and enjoyed cooking up this delicious Thai feast!
Staff from Amy Johnson House collected items to donate to Emmaus charity instead of sending Christmas cards to each other. They collected toiletries, gloves, hats and scarves.
Emmaus supports people to work their way out of homelessness, providing meaningful work, training, support and a stable home for as long as someone needs it.

Staff and residents at Amy Johnson House took a trip to see the Hull Christmas Light Switch On. The residents had a fun time dancing and singing along to the music, getting ready for Christmas! Everyone then went back to Amy Johnson house and made hot chocolates with whipped cream and marshmallows to warm up.
Amy Johnson House had an amazing Halloween weekend, full of fun activities including pumpkin carving. ๐

Residents and team members at Amy Johnson House have been busy creating wall art to brighten up their service and keep track of their Olympic Games. They also added to their arts and crafts corner, created a Nerf Gun target practice wall and updated their activity board ahead of Red Nose Day!
