The team and residents at Montgomery House in Radcliffe are preparing for the ride of their lives this Mental Health Awareness Week (18-24 May 2020).
Montgomery House have set an extremely impressive target – aiming to pedal 500 miles on the exercise bike throughout the week (we hope that seat is comfy!) for The Mental Health Foundation.
Northern Healthcare has a collective target this year to raise £1,000 for The Mental Health Foundation.
“The Mental Health Foundation is such a wonderful charity and it is a cause close to all our hearts,” said Lois Wild, Montgomery House Service Manager.
“The added bonus is that a sponsored cycle-a-thon also benefits the mental and physical health of our residents and team members! Doing something for others really brings the Montgomery family together. ”
If you would like to sponsor the team you can donate via their JustGiving page.
“Our vision is for a world with good mental health for all. Our mission is to help people understand, protect and sustain their mental health. Prevention is at the heart of what we do, because the best way to deal with a crisis is to prevent it from happening in the first place.” Find out more.
A huge thank you to the team and residents at Montgomery, they raised an impressive £142.83!
