The day was finished off with a game of juice pong to show residents can have fun without drinking!

Fundraiser for Children with Cancer UK

Bruce Maclaren, Service Manager at Kirk House is fundraising for Children with Cancer UK. Taking on not one but two marathons back to back in Manchester and London. Here are a few words from Bruce ahead of his challenge: ‘I am raising money for children with cancer. Cancer will effect us all in our life times whether it a loved one, friend, colleague or ourselves. It is a horrible and devastating illness. Although we can take measures to reduce likelihood as developing cancer it can still impact us. It’s a painful and gruelling thing for anyone to go through.’  Good luck Bruce, we’re all cheering you on!
