Supported Living Merseyside

Our 24/7 supported living services in Merseyside empower our residents to lead happy fulfilling lives in a safe environment. Our teams provide support to people living with a mental health diagnosis, autism or a learning disability. Support can be provided in an individual’s home or at one of our shared residential services located in Merseyside.

We have two services near Liverpool centre, Holly Court in Wallasey and Helena’s House in Huyton. At Helena’s House residents have their own room and facilities are shared, such as the kitchen and living areas to promote social inclusion. For those who wish to live more independently Holly Court offers self-contained flats. All of our services and support at home packages offer the same level of clinical support 24/7. Services are renovated to a very high standard and we support our residents to maintain individual tenancies and promote greater independence in a safe and homely environment.

Our teams include a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist and highly trained Support Workers. Access to external therapies such as CBT or language therapy is also available. Our support model puts our residents at the centre of their care, promoting independence and choice whilst developing bespoke strategies to enable our team to work with our residents to meet their changing needs.

We take the time to understand each individual’s wants, needs and goals – whether it’s learning to drive, taking their medication independently, attending college or simply to be able to walk outside our doors freely and feel confident and comfortable with their surroundings. Each achievement is a huge step forward in our eyes.

Our Services

We work in partnership with adult health and social care professionals such as Safeguarding, NHS Trusts, Councils, Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT’s), Wellbeing and Pathway Teams, Early Intervention Professionals, Forensic Teams, Housing Associations and many other practitioners, all of whom can refer an individual to our services.

Northern Healthcare is an approved provider on the Liverpool City Council ‘Flexible Purchasing System: Care and Support for Adults and Young People Preparing for Adulthood’ for ‘Service Stream Ai – CQC Registered Community Based Services’. Stringent assessments within the Framework ensure that all service providers meet a high standard of care, whilst promoting market sustainability and reducing administration – which ultimately, and most importantly, improve the care provision for the service user. Together with our colleagues in adult health and social care we provide a high quality service enabling our residents to achieve their goals in a safe environment with an industry-leading support model.
