Putting people first, changing lives

Northern Healthcare is an independent provider of mental health supported living services for adults (18+) with a primary mental health diagnosis, including individuals who may also have a learning disability or autism.

Northern Healthcare support more than 200 adults across the UK, helping people build stability, independence, and confidence in everyday life. Our services are delivered across the North West, Cumbria, Yorkshire, and the Midlands. We are focused on making a lasting, positive difference to the quality of life of the people we support. Working closely with commissioners, referrers, and adult health and social care professionals, we take care to ensure Northern Healthcare is the right next step for each individual. We believe truly person-centred care starts with understanding someone’s goals, needs, and aspirations, not just their diagnosis.

Our recovery-focused supported living model provides dedicated, flexible support within high-quality accommodation. Individuals are empowered to hold their own tenancy agreements with independent housing associations, reinforcing choice, dignity, and control over their living environment.

Our experienced teams work alongside each person to encourage progress, build skills, and support the next steps toward recovery and independence. We are proud of the impact we make and remain committed to expanding our services across the UK, continuously improving quality, and delivering safe, compassionate, high-standard mental health support.
