About

Schizophrenia can affect many aspects of daily life, influencing how a person thinks, feels and experiences the world around them.

At Northern Healthcare, we support adults living with schizophrenia as part of our wider mental health supported living services, particularly where it is a primary or contributing need.

Our approach focuses on creating safe, structured and supportive environments that promote wellbeing, reduce distress and encourage emotional stability. Through consistent, person-centred support, we work alongside individuals to build confidence, develop coping strategies, strengthen daily living skills, and achieve greater independence at a pace that feels right for them.

Schizophrenia Support

Support for people living with schizophrenia and other related conditions is tailored to the individual and delivered within our supported living pathways, adapting as needs change over time. Our teams work alongside each person to understand their experiences, identify triggers for distress, establish structured routines and develop practical coping strategies that support mental wellbeing. Through consistent relationships, structured daily support and close collaboration with health professionals, we help individuals manage symptoms, build resilience and move toward greater independence at their own pace.
