Supported Living Leeds

Northern Healthcare’s clinically informed model promotes stability, recovery, and increased independence within a structured and therapeutic environment. Our specialist clinical nursing team work alongside highly skilled and compassionate support teams to enable us to provide responsive and individualised care and support.

The team provide 24/7 support for people with a variety of mental health conditions. The people we support come to us from several different pathways; they may require greater ‘step-down’ support following a period in an acute hospital or forensic service. Our experienced team help the people we support to achieve their next steps, from tasks such as cooking and budgeting to longer-term goals such as gaining employment.

What’s life like at Radcliffe Lodge?

Radcliffe Lodge has been part of the Pudsey community for almost 150 years, formerly operating as a nursing home and, before that, a doctor’s residence. We opened as a supported living service in April 2021, continuing its long history of care in a new way. Situated in the heart of Pudsey, a historic market town between Leeds and Bradford, the service benefits from a strong community atmosphere, with a popular park directly opposite and the town centre just a short walk away.

Life at Radcliffe Lodge is active and community-focused. With easy access to the leisure centre, shops, GP surgeries, pharmacies, the library, weekly market, and a wide range of cafés and restaurants, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved locally. We prioritise meaningful activities, volunteering, and employment opportunities, helping people build confidence, routine, and independence while forming real connections within the community. We work closely with the Local Authority, local housing teams, GP surgeries, PCSOs, and the people we support to ensure support is well-connected and responsive.
