Liberty House in Radcliffe, Manchester, is a step-down supported living service for adults (18+) living with a primary mental health diagnosis. The service is delivered in partnership with Bury’s Community Mental Health Team providing a step-down from 24/7 supported living, or potentially a step-up from community living to avoid hospital admission.

People are at the heart of Liberty House, with support delivered through a strengths-based approach that encourages independence, confidence and long-term wellbeing. The service provides safe accommodation with 6 apartments over 2 floors, each with a bedroom, living area, kitchen and bathroom, giving individuals the privacy and comfort of their own space while still benefiting from personalised support. People we support are encouraged to develop essential independent living skills, improve social connections and work towards happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives within a supportive environment in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester.

Staff knew people well and recognised the value of person-centred care. This meant people’s support was individual and personalised to their needs and preferences.
