Sports Day
Residents from Mary Seacole House and Montgomery House have come together for a Sports Day! They enjoyed some friendly competition within the community.



Cricket Competition
Teaming up with Montgomery House once again, residents from Mary Seacole House enjoyed networking and indulging in a little healthy competition at the Bolton Wanderer’s F.C for a game of cricket.


Coffee and a catch up
Mary Seacole House hosted a coffee morning for residents to catch up over a coffee and biscuits, followed by a game of bingo and a quiz!


Wrestling in Bolton
Mary Seacole and Montgomery House joined forces for a fabulous night out to Bolton to watch the wrestling at The Albert Halls.




Brilliant Bowls
Occupational Therapy Support Worker Debra supported residents from Mary Seacole House and Montgomery House to the local bowling alley. Residents had games of bowling, experienced some of the arcade games, enjoyed some food, and got to know each other. A brilliant day was had by all!
Health Kick
Residents at Mary Seacole House enjoyed a healthy porridge breakfast with a choice of toppers including blueberries, bananas, and nuts.

A New Experience
Residents at Mary Seacole House enjoyed an afternoon of rock climbing with Occupational Therapy Support Worker Debra! It was a great experience and everyone enjoyed trying out a new activity.

World’s Biggest Macmillan Coffee Morning
Mary Seacole team members and residents got together to host a coffee morning for Macmillan and enjoyed a yummy selection of treats!
Awards Party
Residents and team members enjoyed a lovely evening celebrating the Northern Healthcare 2022 Awards, snacking on a delicious buffet, playing games of Play Your Cards Right, and even partaking in scooter rides!

One of our Mary Seacole House residents enjoyed an afternoon of bowling with Support Worker Autumn, this was the resident’s last outing with their Support Worker before they move out tomorrow! ๐ณ

Our residents at Mary Seacole House took a minibus to their local pub where they enjoyed a delicious meal. Everyone had a really lovely afternoon.
Milkshakes and Coffee
Our team at Mary Seacole House supported residents to make iced coffees and milkshakes over the weekend ๐ฅ They look delicious – the perfect refreshing drink in the sun!
Football Match
Residents from Mary Seacole House, Montgomery House and Milnshaw House all got together for a friendly game of football that ended with a penalty shootout!
Lois, our area manager commented: “Everyone had a really fun day, and there was lots of laughter throughout the day! It was lovely for all the residents from different services to get together too.”
We would like to thank to Radcliffe Borough for allowing us to use their function room and training pitch, and Dan Flaherty, our finance director, for refereeing the game.
Proud Mailbox
Mary Seacole House have done an amazing job decorating their Proud Mailbox! The crochet topper has been kindly donated by Sam’s Stitches.
Everyone is encouraged to fill out and post a postcard in the letterbox, highlighting instances where our values have been demonstrated.
Summer Sports
Mary Seacole House made the most of the dry weather with a BBQ! They also participated in a sports themed weekend with some house favourites: football and basketball.
